Peter Fraser

Peter grew up in Philadelphia learning about creativity from his parents who were artists and designers. After attending Virginia Commonwealth Universitystudying design, Peter worked in both Philadelphia and Richmond before launching his creative agency in 2004. The portfolio includes a diverse range of clients from Fortune 50 companies to small startups, as well as residential, retail and cultural institutions. In 2020, Peter joined Great Minds, PBC as Creative Director, helping to lead the creative vision within this quickly growing curriculum provider.

Education is a personal focus- in the past six years at VCU Arts, Peter has taught Freshman through Seniors from a variety of majors. The core philosophy of teaching is fostering prosperity of the next generation, advancing the possibilities of design thinking, and creative leadership.

Peter is a frequent public speaker, recently at Creative Mornings RVA, and has been a guest lecturer at Syracuse University, The Art Institute of Design, and the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. As a fine artist, Peter works in a variety of media, and has been an exhibiting artist at 1708 Gallery’s Inlight (2015, 2017) and participated in the Monster Drawing Rally (2016-2018).

Peter is an outdoor enthusiast and spends free time big terrain mountain biking, rock climbing, or alpine hiking whenever possible. He and his wife Sally have three adventurous children, and live on a small farm in Hanover County, Virginia.
