Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Fitness Day - April 4, 2020

East Coast Triathlon Festival - May 3, 2020

A full day triathlon event consisting of 8 races for all ages & abilities.  Races include junior elite cup, youth age group, and adult age group races.  The youth age group race is the Mideast Regional Championships.  One of the largest youth triathlons in the country, 42 states were represented last year. Splash & Dash Series - June/July, 2020

Part of USA Triathlon’s national series, this local swim-run series partners with swim teams to provide kids a safe, fun introduction to multisport.  Each event includes a short swim followed by a short run. VHBG Youth Triathlon - Aug 15, 2020

Now in its 9th year, The VHBG Youth Triathlon is a beginner-focused youth race with a large impact on the local community. 100% of the revenue from this event goes to the VA Home for Boys & Girls. Over the past 8 years, this race has not only introduced the local community to triathlon but also the kids who reside at VHBG and participate every year. Learn More

Regency Mile - Sept 27, 2020

The Regency Mile, formerly Short Pump Mile, is the largest timed youth road race in Richmond, attracting over 1,300 runners in recent years.  The event promotes fitness, school pride, and community involvement.  Includes a school competition with a portion of proceeds donated back to area schools’ PE departments.  Learn More

Run For Mukhanyo - Oct 7, 2020

Run for Mukhanyo is a charity run benefiting a Christian school in South Africa and the local Youth Life Foundation of Richmond. The race is a great example of the Live Red Foundation’s model of community empowerment. We are training and empowering students from Veritas School in the north side of Richmond to mentor and train kids running in this year’s race. Learn More
