This event is a draft-level event, and new this year, this event will be open to ALL ages! Though traditionally used as a way for athletes age 16-25 to earn their elite license,  all ages will have the opportunity to compete in this unique draft-legal format and earn their elite license by placing top 3 non-elite US citizen.  Draft-legal rules/equipment are required (learn about rules here and here), and the lap-out rule will be enforced.  The rules governing all draft-legal events that are sanctioned by USAT are the USAT Multisport Competition Rules as highlighted in the 2023 USAT Draft Legal Equipment and Rules Checklist.

  • Age 16+: 375m swim; 10k (2 lap) bike; 2.5k (1 lap) run

A draft-legal race for youth/junior elites ages 13-19. This serves as 1 of 5 qualifiers for the Youth/Junior National Championships.  To learn more about this series, visit USAT Youth, Junior, & U23 Elite Page, the Junior Elite Series Guide, & USAT’s Draft-Legal Page.

  • Youth (13-15): 375m swim; 10k (2 lap) bike, 2.5k run
  • Junior (16-19): 750m swim; 20k (4 lap) bike; 5k (2 lap) run

As part of ECTF, we host a mile race for all ages (youth to adult) on Saturday evening at 4pm.  This slightly rolling, flowy course will kick off the weekend festivities with a bang!  Athletes will be sent off to blaze through the course and finish under the infamous ECTF finish line.
